Questions That Have Changed My Doctors Visits
What I don't want to forget to ask my doctor and what I don't want to be afraid to ask my doctor

We’ve all been there: walking to the car or the train after a doctor’s appointment, hitting the side of our head because we failed to ask an important question… or three.
It is imperative to plan in advance for any doctor appointment. Here are some sample questions that have been important for me lately. The essential questions for each of us will be personal to our own health journey.
Do you have any doctors you recommend for pelvic floor pain or for chronic pain?
Which local medical organization do you recommend and why?
Have you heard about the off-label use of this medication for pelvic floor pain?
Would you prescribe this off-label medication for me?
Can I get on a waitlist to see this doctor sooner?
How long after starting this medication should I notice a difference? And if I don’t notice a difference, when should I follow up with you?
How soon should I see you again?
Does this new medication have any side effects?
If you have any questions you feel would be helpful to others that are not already on this list, feel free to send me a note to get them added.
