I bought an infrared light for home use. I think I’m too skeptical about it working to be consistent about using it. And you have to use it frequently for it to work. I’d love to hear how it works for you.
I will keep you posted. To be clear, did you buy a red light therapy device or an infrared light device? They are different with different wavelengths and benefits.
Just to confuse matters, the mat I bought has both red light AND infrared and I just use them both at the same time, since it lets me. So if I get relief, I guess I won't know which one helped me! Ugh....
I guess it would be blessing to be in the position of getting relief. TBD if I would actually run the test to figure out which one solved it.
There would be a 50/50 chance I'd be undoing the relief for a short (hopefully) period of time. And maybe it would turn out that using both is what helped. Who knows. But the more I write about this here, the more I see a future Note or Post coming from this.
I'm so glad you asked that question. I had no idea there was a difference. I checked, and mine is red light. I probably need infrared since it penetrates more deeply. Besides, mine is a light that you have to hold, which is a pain. I gave up using it after a couple of weeks. I've been thinking about an infrared mat. Picked one out and everything. So I'm going to be watching eagerly for your updates.

Thanks for the engagement about it!
